CRICKLADE HALF MARATHON AND 10K SUNDAY 6TH OCTOBER 2013 - another successful year
With record numbers in both races, a great day was had at Cricklade. David Bell, first man in the half came in with a time of 01:11:07, with Belinda Tull coming in first for the ladies at 01:29:06. David has run with us before and it is great to see runners coming back to us. Cricklade Town Council awards trophies to the local runners and first Cricklade man in the half marathon was Tim Kimber, with a time of 1:38:31, with first lady going to Penny Lock-Pullen with a time of 1:53:50. Congratulations to Andy Fellows, our first Cricklade man in the 10k with a time of 0:40:14 and to Sarah Jocelyn, our first lady with a time of 0:49:25. Well done to them all - they will now be the proud guardians of our Cricklade runner trophies for the next year.
We had high numbers in the fun run with 150 registering to take part - tomorrow's half marathon and 10k runners! Our fun run winners in the under 16 category were Ellen Foster with a time of 10 minutes and 7 seconds and Eric Robers with a time of 10 minutes and 23 second. Well done to them both. Look out for details of next year's race in the new year. Thank you to all who run with Cricklade and to all local volunteers, without whom this great day would not happen
